Since 2014, Carolina has worked as a Consultant and Trainer at Fight for Peace International (FFP uses boxing and martial arts combined with education and personal development to realize the potential of young people in communities that suffer from crime and violence). Before joining FFP, Carolina worked for five years at the Latin American Women Rights Service in London, as Outreach Coordinator (LAWRS aims to facilitate the tools for Latin American women to assert their human rights and pursue personal empowerment and social change).
Carolina has a degree in Social Work from Universidad de Antioquia in Medellin Colombia. "I am passionate about organizations and community development," she says, "and I believe UpMetrics can provide an easy-to-manage tool that allows communities to organize their data, evaluate their process and therefore be accountable and grow."
In addition to her passion for social work and community building, Carolina played a number of different sports growing up, including basketball, karate, and aerobics, among others.
