"Before joining UpMetrics, I was a Software Engineer in the health sector, serving organizations such as the Centers for Disease Control and the Center for Medicare," Cooper says. "I developed applications to support scientists fighting disease and supporting global public health."
Having studied Electrical and Computer Engineering at Grove City College in the Pittsburgh area, Cooper currently lives in Atlanta, working remotely to help build the UpMetrics platform. "I'm excited to pursue this mission with UpMetrics--I'm passionate about supporting local developing communities, and about technology that can make a difference," he explains. "I believe innovation should be powered by the potential for impact on the community."
Cooper grew up playing baseball in the park with other local kids—an experience that he would like to see the next generation enjoy. "I stay involved in the community by participating in environmentally positive initiatives, serving with local youth organizations and sports leagues."
